I am looking to buy a nice, clean MS460 at a decent price, within the next week or so. I thought I would go ahead and put out a few feelers to see what comes up. I may consider other 70cc saws like a 576AT. Saw must be clean and in good working order. If you have something you might want to get rid of let me know.
Shoot me an email with pics.
    Thanks Tom

I got quite a few offers when I asked for my buddy over a week ago.

Some said they were going on CL or EBay.

I hope you get a good one at a good price :)

I had some from mid $400's all the way to $1,000 (ported mint model).

We settled on one for $700. That was $100 over budget, but was worth it?

I really wish you luck. My 460 is a mean machine. Even before porting, it was an animal with a tri-port muffler! Awesome saws!

I just bought a nice clean 046 on the bay for $650.

Ill have over a grand in it though by the time I get it ported, an es light bar and the large felling spikes.

I paid $919.95 for my 460 brand new. Granted I avoided the tax with a "Farm".

If it's basically brand new, it's not bad. But there is a better deal out there.

Boog had a great saw, but he put several new parts on it to make it look brand new. So the price probably went up, but it will be cheaper than $900. Send him a PM and ask him what his new price with the new Goodies on it is?

I only paid $810 for my new 441C.

There was a member with a nice 441C for a good discount price. Hopefully they all will chime in here.

Here is what I paid new. No BS.

I put a brand new brake handle and 3/4 wrap handle on it, with only a new rear handle cover to go. Its looking so nice now that it's going to be even harder to sell it.

You're going to bankrupt the dealers.

When buying new and paying with cash? My dealer will most definitely work with anyone. You'll probably walk out with an extra chain or two as well

Paid $680 for the 362C-M  Best bang for the buck with that saw. I can't wait till it gets back :)

Boog- You bought a 3/4 wrap for your 460? That's gonna be a mean looking machine! It adds a little weight, but makes them look astounding! !

My dealer priced me a 460 for $850 when they had them. A 441 was $760 or so. All half wrap models so I passed.

I remember a Ohio dealer selling the new release of 440's for high 7's.

Oops, its not 3/4, its only standard half-wrap. Here is how it looks now with the new brake handle, and Dex's "Magnum" suggestion on the aftermarket sprocket cover.

The old handle cover just does not do justice to the new handle, its got to go too! The old handle had a significant crack in it and was replaced.

Here is the only "defect" on it, part of the "tab" on the case that protects the oil flippy cap is broken off. I was going to grind this flush and paint it, but I figured leaving the part still there gives the cap some added protection.

After seeing that high res photo of the bad spot by the flippy I knew what I had to do! It has a nice smooth case now.

Lots of saws by KilliansRedLeo posted today.

That Dolmar 7900 is a great deal for a saw of that size. Those are very strong saws. 79 cc and will own a 32" bar.
