    I dunno...2/3 of new price? ($1250 last I looked)
I mean, I'm cheap so I personally wouldn't pay over half...but I know others would.
Heck, truth is I wouldn't even pay half...I only have $285 in my chineez 660 (bar on)...I tried to buy an older used big block saw, but the prices were/are  o_O :fart: :heidi:especially for something that I'll only use a few times per year at most...

Ok then it seems we are on the same page. I was thinking 1/2 max myself. Thanks for the opinion.

Price , not sure what to tell you on that.

Bar ; no way that's 24. I just posted a saw ( a 661 with 36 inch bar ) that looks closer to that one. My picture actually looks a little longer than 36 inch , angle of the picture throws it off a little.

I'm always a bit gun shy with these type auctions as you never know how it has been handled or taken care of. For sure I don't think I'd go over half the new price. Good luck. And btw, it is easy to make a typo like that and anyone can see that for sure is not a 24" bar. But, will they switch it because of the typo?

This is a auction company that I purchase from several times a month. I have found them to be way on the conservative side. I knew the bar was in no way a 24" but I am more concerned that it's over 36" as I then I'll have to purchase a bar. 28"-32" is my sweet spot that I regularly use. If anything bigger is needed I might as well evict the spiders in the 880.

The saw closest to you is a 32, on an 880 for reference. I took this picture myself last night. Looks like a 36 or 42 to me. If you can call, ask for a picture of the sticker on the flat part of the low handle. DOM or date of manufacture can be helpful with the price BFB10D2A-4BF0-4AE7-90C5-669CEC39CB64.jpeg

It ended up selling for $790 then add 10% buyer's fee. So I let it go. Also to be honest I was being nagged by the thought of this is probably not the best time to spend money on something that is not essential....the sad truth is I could end up broke or even dead from this virus.
Safe and healthy wishes to you all.
