    I know exactly what you're going through brother. Every day since the 70's Hissing, ringing, increasing in volume and intensity.....permanent damge and hearing loss.... Yeah. More leftovers to deal with. :usa:

    Preoccupation is what helps me.

    Engineering division in the US Navy here. We would stand watch in the engine rooms that ran off of a 1200 PSI steam plant. Usually, the pressure was at 1300. Asbestos wrapped steam lines with holes, frayed ends of insulation means just a walking time bomb for meso here. We would use the bare spots of the steam lines (where the asbestos had been worn/torn away to expose bare lines) to light our cigarettes without the aid of a lighter. I think the temps were right around 850f if I remember correctly...?
