I consider myself a car guy but have never seen this before. What kind of car was that? I have seen record players in cars though.

That is how my first car was, a '70 Torino. Loved that it didn't matter what pump you pulled up to.

I believe it is a late 50's Chrysler product.

My oldest sister's T-Bird (60's something model) had that. Also thought it had the swivel driver seat but that also was in the 70's Monte Carlo. Here is the steering wheel thing. History of Ford Swing-Away, Tilt-Away, and Tilt Steering Wheels | AUTOMOTIVE MILEPOSTS

Does anyone on here remember when radio stations had a Davey Crockett tune weekly? Does anyone remember why?

Does anyone remember listening to any serials on the radios? Maybe like Amos and Andy or Bobby Benson and the B bar B ranch?

Does anyone remember the old Christmas tree lights. If one light burns out, you have to check them all to find out which one was bad. That is one most don't wish ever to return.

Does anyone remember the days when you could call a business and a real person answered the phone?

That is why at our school, we make sure that a person answers the phone during school hours. Nothing more frustrating for a parent trying to contact a school and getting an answering machine.

I myself refuse to use voicemail when dealing with businesses. If they are too busy to answer the phone, they are too busy to get my $$$$$. Voicemail has become a social crutch...................
