My aunt works at a grocery store, she feels like a sitting duck as other businesses close but her's stays open. Also, I have not forget the trucking statistics Well Seasoned has posted. Hope our officials can guide through this perfect storm.
Most truckers must fill logs proving miles driven and hrs on the road vs sleeping/off road etc. Pallet Pete can likely confirm changes that have been made to these rules allowing the most product to continue moving
Hours of service have been waved until mid april in the U.S. Some states including Michigan have akso waved seasonal wight limits as well.
I love you guys and gals, stay strong and safe. Cutting our vacation short and we're going back to Texas before we can't.
I predict I'll gain a couple pounds this week. WWW is home for our spring break trip that was of course cancelled, and he likes to cook. Cook delicious stuff, a lot.....
Yes the hours of service for COVID-19 related drivers have been waived across the USA and if I heard right Canada. There also setting up COVID-19 service vehicles and I believe national guard response units. If you are ordered into quarantine and do not do so you can face jail time up to 6 months in certain areas of the country.
My wife got curious and asked if the doctor's office still give regular flu shots. Yes, they do. However, you have to call ahead of time then drive up. They will come out to the car to give the shot. Hum... I wonder I I should take a bottle and offer them a shot at the same time?...
sounds like when I took Lucy to the vet for a cough, they said wait in the car we will be out to check her..................................
I'm curious if they have any qualms of giving flu shots right now since it, A is not of any help for the kung fu flu, and B the combination of adjuvants and antigens in it rile your immune system and it sure seems like a ♧!$$ poor time to be riling up an immune system for one thing when a second that is bigger is so looming?
Regular flu shots will help this situation because if there's less flu going around there's more resources to help with the coronavirus pandemic. The smaller amounts of flu will mean less mistakes when diagnosing the coronavirus. Now for my opinion. It's also possible that the flu shot will kick your immune system into gear and help with a possible coronavirus infection.
