I was in Hannafords in Hampton today. Not too crowded. I was in the express line and the woman behind me had 4 cases of water. I was getting hamburg and bread for spaghetti. She asked me if I had enough water. I told her that my thought was many people have handled those bottles of water and God knows what they infected them with. I said that water out of my faucet was much better in my opinion. As I was paying for my stuff I saw her push the cart to the side and walk out the door. I didn't know whether to feel bad or laugh. Sometimes I am just evil.

Ugg I'm sorry you have some crud. Weird BB, my husband is the same. Except he's had a lung cough thing for over a year, I cannot get him to follow up with the specialist to determine adult onset asthma :headbang: and he links the time it started to when our new Cocoa kitten came to us  -so his cough is not new. He's had a low fever for days and feels off but not run over by a truck like the flu. I'm wondering if he caught the flu but his shot is 1/2 way working (making it less severe than full blown flu) ?

We'll all be home this coming week, so we'll give the cat a bath one way or another to get the saliva off his beautiful shiny coat that I hope will help his cough.

My honey and a coworker whose desk is next to hers both came down with "the demon" within a day of each other. Co worker was tested positive as influenza A which the shot missed this year. I was hoping that my having the flu shot would help as she didnt get it but her co worker got the shot and the flu so.........

I am hoping I am out of the woods of catching this one from her.

I felt run down and fatigued for a few days but thinking that was due to work being turned upside down last few weeks. Also taking Airborne since last Sunday.

My other half is allergic to cats, but loves them sooooo much.

That was the reason we got the Sphynx cat.

Low allergen in the Sphynx.....cat sleeps with us in the bed and no issues.......

Sorry to hear of the malady, THE CRUD

I just made mystery shower gel. What is that? Well, I lost my sense of smell today so don't know how the scents came out. I can't smell Ylang-ylang or patchouli (and those are strong scents for those not in the know). I can only tell there is a slight "sharpness" when I take a whiff of Rosemary.

Thinking back on what I ate today, cinnamon was a bit flat this morning at breakfast and I didn't get any heat or sharpness from the salsa and guacamole I had at lunch.

But, at least my running nose and sneezing has slowed down and I can actually breath through it for minutes at a time, so that is some positive news

Remember, you haven't "lost" anything until you actually try to cash out securities. The markets will recover.

No. I do not have any of the risk factors and do not qualify for testing even if I contacted doctor; No fever, no overseas travel (heck, no out of 2 counties travel), no contact with anyone who has it, not even near any of the areas that report it. This is a cold or some other bug, nothing more and there is no reason to waste resources even if they were able to test every single person today.

Not sure what DST is, but I get up that early almost everyday! I like the quiet and the sunrise.

The leap forward of the clocks for "Daylight Savings Time". That is my usual time up anyway, just on weekends I really notice how long it takes the sun to even start brightening the horizon (not until 7 this morning). I'm at work at 5:30 am, so during the week it isn't as noticeable to me then.

I always felt that since I was just going to work, I didn't care if the sun was up early.....I would much rather have it shining in the evening when I'm home. Even though I'm retired, I still like it light outside in the evening.
