That's a full- time job right there! Makes the day less predictable for sure.
It will be a cooler day here, a good day to do some splitting. I may give a tutorial to my ex-husband, who has expressed some interest. Mainly I'm trying to help keep him from going off the deep end with coronavirus fears.
I told my old boss I'd help her out in the plant dept. at Home Depot this spring. She's recovering from shoulder surgery, and will be hiring other people as well. It won't be a huge amount of hours, which will keep it in the fun zone.
If my grandson's school closes, all that goes out the window!

You are doing great down there! Your fish stocks are looking good.

I feel a little light when my canned fish stocks get below 12 pints. I think we are down to 5 now...so I will get busy canning more after the spear is put away. Then there will a little fish drought for about a month while the ice goes out.

That first batch of open water spring bluegill and crappie fried up is something I am already looking forward to!!

PS: I know what you mean when you see that bobber pop when a crappie sucks in that minnow, then go steadily down slowly.

Brandon Scott for introverts one the best things about the very early morning is that there are not any people around to avoid. In the summer I am off the lake with my fish before anyone else even is out there.

 

Where’s our peeps? I figured they were ready to get this week over with.

 

My fish stocks took a hit yesterday. I sent my dad a refrigerated package next day air full of fish. UPS was proud of that...
