    3 weeks ago his GF said that she got a smoking deal on cruise tickets to the Bahamas. Well yeah you did. I told him that I wouldn't go if I was him.

    This is a time that if you asked people if they wanted free cruise tickets, that most would decline them. :eek:

    I was a MAC Tools distributor in the early 90's. I was doing very well, so well they wanted to split my territory which they weren't allowed to. Lawyers settled it, cost them a lot of money.

    On a related note, all the stores are out of hand sanitizer. My wife tried to buy some, and all 3 stores she went to had empty shelves.

    I made her a batch of sanitizer using isopropyl alcohol and aloe we had at the house. I put it in a nearly empty hand soap pump container that we like the soap smell. It smells pretty good. It's probably 65-70% alcohol so it'll work the same.

    While eating dinner this evening, we heard a thump. We both thought it was ice falling off one roof and onto another until 99 went upstairs and found the bath light fixture had fallen! Well, just the glass cover with no breakage...thank you carpeted floor.

    The threaded rod that comes down in the center of the fixture attaches to a rod coupler and then the globe attaches to the rod. That danged rod coupler broke! It is made from the goofy white metal cast stuff.

    It happened that I had a brass connector with the right threads. It is actually a brass tee connector but WTH it worked! I'm already laughing about the next guy that has to replace that fixture and wonders what went on!

    I like it all, except gin.

    My friends got me a bottle of nice tequila from Mexico, a bottle of Jack, and a bottle of Bacardi. I'm set for a while.

    :confused: WWW's running a low fever and doesn't feel well. Hope its only a cold, or from running himself ragged the last several weeks. Flu has been sporadic here, not wide spread. We'll see in the morning. Not sure if I'll leave him sleeping sound on the couch that is hot from the pellet stove or disturb his sleep and wake him to go to bed in the cool bedroom :popcorn:
