Felling for a friend

Old boy on the tractor is the landowner.
    I missed my target by about a foot. Ground was a bit greasy and the front axle assist was not working, so didn’t get the saw logs out. Other than that it was a fun day.

    Looks like there will still be plenty of firewood in the tops but boy they are crooked.

    Yep, lots of firewood! I was hoping that I would be able to get some of it but landowner is a wood burner.:( More firewood than my friend thought because wasn’t as much suited for milling as he hoped

    Burr oak and 372xp and my friend used his 550 to clear a couple 8” hackberries that were in the LZ

    Well done! 32" Oak ain't no joke. Foot off I could live with. Shame about no firewood though.
