    Can take a paper clip and straighten it out. Hold it with a hemostat then he it up. Have a napkin or couple Kleenex right there to catch the blood when it comes out. Heat the paper clip then put it directly on nail.

    I'm so sorry your pup is leaving you so soon. It is never easy to say goodby, but especially when we haven't had near the expected lifespan with them. RIP William.

    Well, it seems as though I may have gotten away lucky. I am able to type and do secretary things and there is just a small dark dot on the nail and the underside of the finger is a little bruised looking. Still quite sore so we will see what tomorrow brings.
