OMG I'm dying and kiddo is too . I could not see the pull over where the bus stops, but was perty confident I was near the pull off (dirt quad runner trail). Turned on my headlights and brights for *if* the bus made it. He did. He pulled into the normal place, I was 20' over on BLM Got out in that wind to assure the bus driver it was me and we are good despite my parking job, kiddo and I were doing the hurricane weatherman lean And cheered when we had a split second break or two in the whiteout and found the main dirt road. OMG PS, first time using 4H in the FJ, it rocked, right through the drift at the end of the driveway And obviously in the field by the bus stop
We made tacos al pastor tonight. OMG so freaking good. Well, we prepped them over the weekend, marinated then in the proper marinade for 2 days. Last week, I even stopped at the Mexican grocery store to pick up the dried guajillo chilis and annato ( achiote) paste for this. I processed the dried chilis into powder myself, so we've got more for next time. So tonight I grilled the marinated pork up, and my wife had all of the toppings set. So flipping good. Yeah it's a winner. These were actually better than the tacos al pastor I had in Puerto Vallarta last time I was there.
So your finially and n the FJ. I haven't been on the thread in weeks to keep up so at this point you may have had it awhile? Sent from my moto g(7) using Tapatalk
NO, it took like 3.5 months or something crazy, but yes, it's finally here. And I like it!!! I think it's been home a month or so. Still needs some odd repairs like like heater ducts and door locks and seat height adjustment and the check engine light But, as is, it's doing what I needed, and warms up quickly Idk Clems, I could have sunk that $$ into the Blazer for new weather stripping etc. But that will all get done first thing after we win the Wyoming Lottery. VERY COOL I did not have to get out the wind and cold today in the FJ and struggle to turn frozen manual hubs like I've done for eons in the Blaze. Yep, I'm really taking a shine to it
