Great to see ya steppin into the new century brother! You can accomplish the same thing as the zillion with a pinto pulley and some hitch cord. Save some lmk if you want some tips setting it up. Nice thing about going that way is that any hank of rope can be set up as a lanyard/short climb system. Wait until you do some learning about how to splice double braid. Whole new ballgame after that.
Gee whizz all these fancy climbing gizmos. When I was younger all we had was a surplus painters harness and a rope. Launch the rope over the tallest crotch and my buddy would pull me up with my old jeep.
Back in the day we spiked everything and my decent rope was a moldy hank of three strand manilla. Climbing is light years ahead of that these days.
I've always wished I had learned the climbing trade as a young man. You know what they say about old dogs and new tricks.
I watched you climb at the GTG, very professional!! I'd be flipped upside down and all tangled up in that stuff. And that's the first 10 feet. I'll take my chances in the loader bucket and Elizabeth driving. I don't think she would mix up dump and down a second time.
From what I can gather up your in much better condition to start climbing now than most all of us here.
