    No. They are to make a down cut and then up cut to make one cookie. He didn’t get the bar in deep enough on the up cut. Also running a cold saw but wanted to get at it with a sharp chain.

    Oh. I’ve never seen that before. The comps I’ve done have been complete up then complete down or a bore cut followed by an up then down.

    My thought is they’re just trying to teach saw control and don’t have to change the log so often.
