...saw that on a tree page on Facebook this week, so blacksmith and I went out this am to check our local TSC....it was listed for $7.00/gal. I showed the lady at the cash register a pic of a receipt that a guy in Missouri shared with the tree group, and they honored the price o $5.00/gal! So we loaded up.....15 gallons should last us til early summer! Here's a pic of the sale price online.... Here's the dated receipt the guy shared in FB that I showed our cashier..... Here's the stash in the bed of my truck! Joe bought 5, I bought 10, I still have 5 new jugs in my trailer....I think I'm gonna head back out this week to get 10 more!! Will this put me in the lead for bar oil hoarder of the year so far??
Sure.....for the next couple days at least. You use it so fast, you'll be in last place by next Tues. Oh, and I wish I'd known about this earlier. I just got back from Alpena.....could have made a TSC run while I was there.
I looked online and my add says 7.00. It was $8.19. So the savings was the same. I hate regional pricing. I'll try tomorrow for price match. Scotty Overkill , where are you in central PA
Get it while it is hot. I recall a few years ago Family Farm and Home had a big sale and I bought several gallons. I think it was $4.00 at that time. Probably won't see that again.
