I picked an Echo backpack blower last year. I'm pretty impressed with it. I cant say anything bad about my Husky 450, other than it's a little underpowered when buried in a 24" oak log with an 18" bar. But my next saw will very likely be the CS620P with a 24" bar. Their warranty, and reviews almost make them a no brainer for a firewood guy.
When i got my 261 last Summer, it was supposed to be an Mtronic. I actually took it to my dealer and was going to try and trade for one. Guy working there talked me out of it as they see a lot of the Mtronic issues coming in for repair. He was gungho on Echo. Ive owned an Echo hand held leaf blower for years (probably 5-6 of them) and love them. Use on the roof/construction for clean up, clean gutters etc. Im not a fan of computerized either. Hoard on, be safe and enjoy that new saw!
Congratulations on the new saw. Proud for you, now quit being a slacker.......you don't have any excuses...Glad you found some wood to cut today.
I was Gona get an echo 620. Decided on getting my 362 standard carb version muffler modded and woods ported. I do like the 60 cc echos they are easily the best bang for the buck going. 590 is a good saw too, a good friend has one and I like it.
That woke up the 362, didn't it? huskihl did ours...love it now, run a 25" and 28" bar on it. Kevin did a video when he finished, 32" bar noodling...wow...
Nice saw! I didn't know County Stores dealt in Echo...good to know. They are the closest Stihl dealer to me since Shepard's closed down. I love their hardware store. It's what a hardware store should be.
