How are you going to get that out? Gonna cost a pretty penny unless you have more machinery or a buddy with some.

Pretty stuck. Had one about a week old at work got stuck like yours, but deeper on the cab side, operator climbed out the top. Brought 3 of the 18 wheeler wreckers in to pull it out.

Yep, that's stuck. Sucks when that happens. D8 wide track & a slow steady pull, hooking up the chain is gonna be a real chit job though.:shiver:

the company next door has a D8 we was going to use to push trees out with but the transmission is out, so we loaded our D8 up and brought it to the shop but it has blown head gasket. So we go bring in our excavator. That’s why the pictures are not of a stuck dozer. But we’re the only two outfits here with any BIG iron. There’s a towing/recovery company 70 miles away, $5 a mile each way & $1,000 hr once they’re on site.
We’re going to try a few things before we call them

You’ve got a knack for getting noticed, I’ll give ya that.... not the good kind of noticing I’ll add.

Don't have any want to be noticed...good or bad.
Butt--if you're finding some offense, explain. I'll adapt.
    Thx.

$1000 an hour? Is that for one truck, or multiple? That's crazy. It's been 12 years since I've been in a heavy wrecker, but I cant imagine prices have gone up that much!

Bid it like you dont want to do it I guess.
