Nice that three generations contributed to harvesting the oak! Does your son burn wood too?

Well, he didn't actually help this time. He's 19 and still lives with us, also about 4 months from completing the welding program at the local community college. He kinda quit helping much with wood when he started showing interest in girls, lol! Now he's working an almost full time job at U-Haul while going to school, so not much free time. I bought him the 365 for all his help with firewood a few years back. He then sold his current saws (2 Husky 55's, and open port and a closed port versions) to fund sending the new one to Mike for a port job. I keep fresh fuel in it for him.

Very impressive The Wood Wolverine! Keep hoarding. I'll look forward to pics once that's all split and stacked.

Nice work Jason. The mound is really piling up. Whats next? Back to the storm downed trees?

I'll get my splitter over to him asap, then next for me will be back to the bike shop boss' house for the backyard tree's. I'm really considering milling one or two. Really nice straight grained oaks. I'd imagine it would be a slow go milling oak though. And lots of sharpening on the 42" chain.

Wow, very impressive. Great job helping your parents out. My mom at 92 still burns wood.

Well, all of this wood is now split. I did let Dad help, smashed thumb and all. I'll take another pic when it's properly stacked.

Most all of the ash has been stacked under his carport, some already burned. In fact, everything I determined good enough has already been pulled from this mound. save for a few splits of box elder. Hated to leave it like that, but we were both ready to quit.
