Edit- today’s work! fell a bunch of small oaks, and one slightly bigger dead one. Easy except for close to a phone cable and a bunch of branches hanging over the fence. Took a while but got most of them down safely. No damage to the cable or fence. Still going to climb the ladder and drop a few more tomorrow. Brush will get hauled off Friday.
Not much Dennis.... letting my guts settle after eating some eggs that Fire Flake made for my breakfast.... pepper comes out fast when ya choose the “spoon” side of the shaker.... “The eggs are fine honey... thank you for fixing me breakfast..............”
I avoid it if at all possible. Cutting on ladders is not fun, safe or enjoyable....But couldn’t turn down the cash, it was paying for a new to me trailer. Finished up today, no injuries, no problem. These trees were not ones you could climb either, proper way would have been a bucket truck, and/or pole saw. That would have made it a non-cost effective venture. I knew the owner, knew her property, so no biggy. Bunch of smaller live oaks, besides the big rotten one.
