Yes cool he used that ramp!! A driver that could not read english traffic signs nor trained well went all the way down on I70 out of control and plowed into cars stopped in a traffic jam and killed several. I've never seen one either but I did see tracks in one near Vail in the late 80's that a truck had used but was already removed. As well as a different one like giant pilons filled with sand or gravel/rocks that was obliterated too. Again, no truck. God Bless the safe truckers!
Yeah that accident in Colorado was horrible. Makes you wonder how they can allow some of these people to drive 80,000 pound vehicle
Bright sun Great video. Glad he took it. Now just how does he explain this form of phone (or camera) use while driving...…..
Ya think? The shaped and colored signs were for the illiterate people originally but nowadays there are more big green rectangular signs on the interstate than anything else.
That reminds me the only one I ever saw in NY was on route 9A many years ago by the General Electric plant. Wasn’t even a bad hill, but I guess they were hauling some toxic stuff seeing that they were right near the Hudson River. It was sand ramped up to an incline. Looked like a skateboard ramp. Happened to pass there last week and it is long gone.
Headed to 33 today, hooray! Sunny again and already up to 27. Bad part is it is supposed to be a bit windy today and the next couple of days. I'll still get out as we need more wood on the porch. I'll get the tractor out and let it get fully warmed up then bring wood and go from there. Hopefully I can stand to do a bit more outdoors but if not, there is still tomorrow. Supposed to be much warmer then.
CSU attracts students/researchers etc. from all over the world. Major disconnect between passing the drivers license test and applying/obeying driving laws when on the road. It's crazy to see people driving dangerously around campus, I've seen one 1/2 on the sidewalk before that was packed with students changing classes My main concern was emergency vehicles, too many new to the USA drivers to not pull over for them. One time I heard the sirens of firetrucks and police cars and 2 others and pulled over. The driver behind me that was doing 1/2 the speed limit crossed the double yellow lane with oncoming traffic to drive around me, then held up the caravan of emergency vehicles for alteast another quarter mile till the first responders turned The other place I witnessed jungle ball driving was a trip to YellowStone a couple years ago. CRAZY!
I'm still 10 months younger than you are Well looky here, guess this is not recent, but still impressive. I found a copy on youtube sans narrative.
