    Definitely not something many get to see! I've been in the woods for over 20 years and haven't yet

    bear 1998 probably has video, from multiple angles, with sound as well! A little editing and he'll be looking for real $ as he deals with a website that deals in such subject matter. At least, I've heard those sites do exist.

    Deer porn. R-rated, sounds like back in the day when Deep Throat was released before it was rated, played at a nearby town's movie theater and bet that was the most money that place saw for one film!! Then it got rated and banned from that theater, kids that waited for the next weekend were plenty pi$$ed off.

    I have a buddy who had a monster deep woods buck mount a doe right under his stand. They were moving and he was bow hunting, so he had to take the shot. He hoped there was enough "action" prior to them being in his location for them to have made more venison, as well as passing on his superior genetics. Around here the initial peak breeding period starts in early November and goes for about 14 -17 days. During that time does come into estrus staggered across different days, and are receptive for a 2 day period. There is a secondary breeding phase that starts in Early December for the roughly 10 percent of does that are not bred during the initial phase, as well as some early maturing yearlings that come into estrus. After initial breeding takes place I start to see ground scrapes being renewed, but not too often during the peak breading phase, unless it is a so-called "rage scrape" made by a dominant buck tending a doe that may be being tailed by a another big buck in an over-lapping range who is may be trailing her pheromones.

    Like Smokinpiney said not many get to see actual breeding even after decades in the woods. I have been at it 40 years and have never seen it myself, but have seen a lot of other interesting whitetail deer behaviors during the rut such as making ground scrapes and rubs, intense chasing, sparing, and bucks all out fighting. It is a very dynamic period of deer behavior for sure, and exciting time of year for deer hunters!

    Electrician I used to work with was sitting outside at a fire pit one evening late fall.

    Two young bucks walked into his yard. They (wife) kept watching them and then one young buck mounted the other one.

    He did manage to take a couple pics of the attempt. Also said it was longer than just a dominance thing. It mounted and humped :picard:

    Just can't tell now-a-days!:rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    Should have shot them both and thrown away the meat, keeping it out of the food chain just in case!

    Good thing is, they'll never reproduce!

    And they don't have to have special rest rooms built for them either; there's that too! :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:
