The best is, the guy that owns the 50 acre dead standing red oak heaven is “BUYING” a cord off of me. He would not let me give it to him

Selling him his own wood... well they say that the price of firewood is all about the labor.

Hello friends, iv been really going at full force still. I havnt had my phone for pics with me because iv been leaving it home for Kameron. Whitney has been back in school for her masters since January, she works from home as a buyer and then does homework all night and weekend. Kameron has been playing games with my nephew on the phone and playing with his toys being a great little boy while Mom and Dad have been so busy. He was handsomely rewarded at wal-mart the other day for it. Been spending time at the 50 acre spot getting lots of the dead standing oak, its selling faster than i can make it. Ill be cutting all day again today so try andget some pics. Happy Sunday to all.

We forgive you for no pics, I totally get how much the little guy likes to play his games! At least he'll be back in school this week. Sounds like you are mowing that oak spot like a hayfield, wonder if demand will keep up through March. Maybe spring is here? Some kind of storm possible next weekend, can't get too comfy yet.

I just cant wait to turn the clocks, im so done splitting under lights. Iv got so many orders piled up through spring/ summer its ridiculous. Everytime i fill my truck at the 50 acre oaks i only drive my truck a few hundred feet. Theres plenty of dead standing and i havnt touched any storm wood. Theres also alot of dead thats not ready rt now but will be good to cut in spring for next winter.

Heres a post from yesterday and this wood going to a lady in town. The red oak was 13% rt off the splitter, it will be under 10 in a couple days. 20% Ash and cherry. I burned the oak in my house yesterday and it was soooo hot.

Supply is high, demand is strong, and you are the labor, a one man economics equation!
I'm ready for daylight savings too.
