I think the "blue" for vehicles is a lot different than those for indoor, house applications. Could be wrong about that though.

And yeah, I've been startled to see actual blue and purple headlights heading my way. However, I must say, those aren't as blinding to oncoming traffic.

Thanks, I think we escaped the worst of it here in Shropshire but with so much rain on already saturated ground, it’s very wet and muddy.

The river at the bottom of one of the fields here has also risen quite a lot; the sheep have all been moved higher up.

That looks like a lovely spot, when it isn't flooded. Soggy sheep, I can imagine the aroma, poor things.

I'm glad I don't ever really devote much ( if any) time to Nascar, but they can't even get this race started.

Why is it that a few drops of rain will stop a Nascar race, but superbikes will race in the rain on 2 wheels?

Phone rang around 9:30 this morning. A guy had water dripping into his basement from under his kitchen sink.....what are you doing?

Let me finish up a few things and I'll be right over. Be sure to turn off the faucet disconnect valves under the sink.

Don't know how it happened, but the hot water flexible tube connector from valve to sink had a nut that was split and it created the leak of course.

Replaced the flex connector and now his sweetie can do all the dishes she wants!

He said that maybe some time ago he may have tightened it himself...….

Yesterday my neighbor and I spent time cutting rounds. Today my helpers came and were constantly splitting for two hours.

We stopped at my various work spots from the day before, and while they split what was there, I added new rounds from what might be had nearby. Splits were left in place. I am off tomorrow so I will be gathering up what is there.

I climbed up a slope with an ash treetop and rolled rounds to them. Great afternoon.

By the way, you notice the charred seat cover? I had a “senior moment “ a while ago.
I placed a complete newspaper in my boiler to get a flame going as I loaded fresh wood. Changed my mind, as there seemed to be good enough coals. Set the newspaper on the seat, and commenced to loading the boiler.
I turned to see the seat covers and part of the foam seat on fire. Thought the fuel tank would go.

oh well, I ordered a new cover, and it is waiting for a rainy day. I think tomorrow afternoon.

I used to beat myself up over dumb stuff. Finally realize you can’t do that. Just fix it and move on.

Beautiful woods you got their @Sourwood:thumbs:Don’t beat yourself up too bad about the seat, a friend of mine that’s a fire inspector, stayed in one of the reasons that they’re going to sprinklers as being mandatory. There’s some of these new fabrics and building materials are extremely flammable!
