this forum is politics free. take your political bs somewhere else. there are other wood cutting sites that would welcome you. perhaps you'd be happier there.
So you insult every Canadian on this board with a political, cultural and racist pejorative by conflating Canadian with pesos, then insult everyone on this thread for having contributed worthless posts, one which you found humorous, which apparently has no value and then have the nerve and audacity to call someone else out for making a humorous observation in the exact same vein ? Seriously ?
C'mon now! Everyone knows that if you want serious answers about colonizing mars, you ask on a public forum!
I wonder if the people who want to live on mars have never driven across the country or crossed a wilderness area. We’re not running out of space. There is so much room. So much. If you’ve never left the city I could see why you might think we’re too close together. People shouldn’t live that close.
That is not true at all!! you are putting words in my mouth. (figuratively speaking) I replied to a silly joking answer, with a silly joking comment. my apologies to anyone I offended from Canada. that was not my intention. then I thanked a person for a serious answer. I never said anything about a "worthless post" those are your words, not mine. I enjoyed every joking post and got a laugh out of them all. I also appreciate a well thought out, and well researched, serious answer. none of my comments were politically motivated, so it was not in the same vein. politics are banned on this site. perhaps ppl should review the rules they agreed to when they signed up on this site before posting.
Sorry, the engineer in me keeps slipping out. I was hoping my commission in StarFleet Command would make it acceptable here... KaptJaq
"Rocket Man" (officially titled "Rocket Man (I Think It's Going to Be a Long, Long Time)") is a song composed by Elton John and Bernie Taupin and originally performed by Elton John. Some feel the song was inspired by the short story "The Rocket Man" in The Illustrated Man by Ray Bradbury, and echoes the theme of David Bowie's 1969 song "Space Oddity"
I'm about 9/16 in agreement with that. Or should that be..... 14mm.. (Dr.Evil- pinkie in corner of mouth..)
