They announced tonight that ALL railroad service, both passenger and freight has been shut down across the ENTIRE COUNTRY due to the native protests over the RCMP trying to clear demonstrators blocking the building of a pipeline in British Columbia. If this shutdown continues for 36 hours or more, not only will no one be able to use trains for traveling, but fuel supplies including propane will start to dry up.

The idiot that is supposed to be running this country is currently in Africa trying to drum up votes so that he can put his useless arse in a seat on the UN Security Council. He could care less about what is actually going on here.

Classic Nero fiddling while Rome is starting to burn.

The saying round here has always been "whoever's got more lugnuts wins".....

I'm pretty sure the train has lots and lots of lugnuts....

I bet those front bumpers and grills are still pretty strong, even w/o the cow catcher!

Definitely following this as a large part of my job relies on rail freight coming from there. :coffee:

What you need are some Anti-Protesters-Protesters. I can't imagine the people who are blocking the tracks to be much of a force to be reckoned with. Roll up the sleeves and remove them.

The problem is that nobody in the provincial or federal government have the balls to step up and solve the problem that they are legally mandated to control.

Actually, this is just the latest confrontation here in Ontario. Those natives have been holding the provincial government at bay for going on twenty years now. That crew in Desoronto throw up blockades on the tracks and and roads everytime they want something else. The Provincial police and the game wardens here have been muzzled and restricted from fixing the problem. Unfortunately there are not enough anti-protester protesters who have the balls to do what should be done. The whole dog and pony show has now been allowed to go nation-wide un-checked so far.

I always thought politicians had to be very smart to get to where they are, I’m starting to realize how terribly wrong I was.

Some criminals seem smarter than others, but they may have coaches and handlers.

No doubt...........the government has admitted that the situation here in Ontario is being orchestrated by outside adjudicators but they have yet to do anything but enter into "discussions" with them. The whole situation is a joke, albeit it a sad one. The idiot that runs this country, who is in Germany on the campaign trail, was quoted as saying" The goverment is in the habit of not telling the police what to do in operational issues". Based on that statement, law abiding gun owners are prepared to shove that statement down his throat when he finally brings forth his new gun control agenda.................

sounds like ppl standing up to the government and the government doing nothing. I think I wanna move to canada. in usa the government kills you.

search lavoy finicum, or ruby ridge, or waco siege. side note the sniper who killed the woman holding her baby at ruby ridge was the same sniper that killed 70+ including unarmed women & children as they ran for their lives after their house was lit on fire in waco texas. all charges against him were dropped.

here is a link to the sniper. Lon Horiuchi - Wikipedia
