Id seriously consider having that much in 4 stacks instead of one and apart from one another. Don't want to lose the lot at once by sabotage by fire or bad luck. A lot of time invested there!

It isn't safe to have stacks of would in your yard (around this area) where anyone can back up to it with a truck. In the back yard is usually safe. That and having a big dog keeps thieves looking elsewhere.
Yup! Pretty sure….. Are you in the Onalaska/Holmen area? My wife is from there and I've been their many, many times, I have relatives by marriage all through the area
I don't know, never asked em. I have always stacked my wood there. He has dumped some crap poplar, birch and boxelder on his side of the fence, all unsplit and is now rotting. They have a very large firepit caldron.
