    Almost all Douglas fir and bigleaf maple today. I cut up a small alder just to top off my load. We passed up A LOT of alder. I mean A LOT! There's loads and loads of wood on the ground from recent snow and wind storms.

    She doesn't like firewood trips because she has to spend most of the time in the truck.
