20F here. Pine and Spruce in the Wood Gun.

 

Mild here as well, 32f, but no snow coming for a few days, probably your snow yooperdave coming this way. Thanks.

 

40/41ºF overnight, 42ºF now outside. Rain, rain, rain, rain, not heavy, just persistent.
Burning some pine and spruce but will probably not keep it up all day.

 

Woke up to about 4 inches of new snow this morning. Sitting at 28°F w/ another inch or so expected this morning. Alligator juniper heating up the house.

 

Ended up with a touch over an inch here this morning. Snowing like a banshee for awhile; had to use only the dim headlights this morning during those periods.

 

Still rather cool and blustery here today, a cocktail of ash, oak and sycamore keeping us warm.

 

34 outside 72 inside. At what point do you guys back off on the stoves? Can’t seem to get the wife to stop loading the stove lol.

Our weather forecast is calling for -20 temps with up to 30 mph winds. And.... "significant snow".

This will be starting on Thu and I'm sure I'll be right here to tell you all about it! We'll see just how far off they are this time.

(I should've stopped for supplies at the store today.....)

 

22° outside, 68° in the back hall, mid 70's in the stove room.

Ash and red maple in the stove. Thursday and Friday are to be really cold. I'll break out hickory, apple, locust, and ironwood then.

 

Right there with ya, 17F tonight, -20F by Friday morning. But 68F on the house burning a oak,maple,ash in the outdoor burner.

Yoop 6 inches of snow Thursday, Friday highs are negative, valentine day outside temps are 0 or below.. NOT family friendly

 

Yikes! That's right about Firday….. Valentines day! It almost got a lot coder here!

 

25 now, snow coming this evening and single digit lows tomorrow. Looks like winter is coming for a little while. One small ash and locust to get the coals going.

22 F here. Using up White Pine and Spruce the next couple days.

 

29 and 76, just put a little beech in. Sunny and close to 40 predicted today, but breezy. Feels like 20 now. 3-6” moving in early tomorrow morning through early afternoon, then into the freezer for a couple days before it warms up again. Incredible how mild this winter has been vs last. Been great except the ice. I’m ready for spring anytime now...

 

Low 20's overnight but still windy. Not high winds, just enough to make it uncomfortable.

 

It has been warm, but the bottom dropped out of the thermometer this morning. -24°F / -31°C. It's supposed to warm up to thawing Friday.
