and rottiman , we hit the silver last summer And I think your bride is the one that is nuts putting up with dutch ovens for all those years !
I have it said it is important to "be the right person" Marriage is not a 50-50 arrangement but a 100-100 arrangement.
I cannot believe I missed this thread, I've been living under a rock lately. All I can say SD Steve is my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to you. You are not alone and I am praying you have found some help. I pray the good Lord is watching over you and guiding you.
I have never been married so I can't contribute to that conversation except from observations. I have seen some bad marriages in my family and some in friends. I have seen some of the YouTube videos of men getting screwed over by women. Seeing all this I often wonder why men would want to get married and in some states you have to be careful about living together as a certain number of years you are common law married and the same laws apply. The feminist have pushed for laws that gives a lot of power to women in the courts. If a woman wants her husband or boyfriend out of HIS house; all she has to do is to call the police and say he attacked her or rape her and they will remove him from the house; it is automatic detention for 24 to 48 hours in a lot of states. Divorce rape is real, many states are still giving the woman alimony today, in the 21st century. Why? To men out there; if you are getting a divorce, try to get a woman lawyer because a man with a man as a lawyer is going to get divorce rape; probably still with a woman lawyer but you might get divorced rape less. I don't blame so many men going MGTOW.
Wow! Things usually get straightened out in court, unless there are more people that intentionally lie under oath. I have seen lots of divorces and have yet to see one as bad as you describe. I don't consider youtube an authority on the topic.
Things get ugly quick. I got raked over the coals by a old feminist ‘mediator’ my first time to court. Took me multiple days off, lots of paperwork and prayer to get back in front of a judge. It all worked out, but the ones who suffered were the kids. It was ridiculous. This is California, but far north, so fairly conservative. I hope it works for Steve. We are pulling for him!
Well put!!! And, it does! Mine went for the throat fast!!! My first wife and I were only married three years, she went "Immediately" for the house that "I" owned before she came along, she got a two year old car, "I had to pay off", all the furniture we bought together and $4500.00 in credit card bills! And, the B!T@# even took my beautiful dog, half black lab, half Newfoundland. That dog was such a sweetheart and she was sooooo gentle. Lucky the judge sided with my lawyer and she couldn't touch the house. It was never in joint names and not married long enough, got to keep that!
Now a woman that would take a man's dog is a new low. People really should read the laws before entering into the legal contract known as marriage.
Instead of charging $10 bucks for a marriage license and 50-100 thousand or better to get divorced, they should reverse the fees.................. Slime ball lawyers feast on this segment of the market because it is such a emotional issue.
Yes, yes she did!!! Then gave her away a year later. I found out way after the fact! She did it in full spite of me! I will say this on an open forum but "if" I'd have known that at the time, she have may have went to the same place as "Jimmy Hoffa"!
