    I started this elsewhere but thought I modify it and post it here. Hope it's not too corny!


    Little loads that I may hoard
    will eventually become a cord
    I'll split and stack them in a row
    and rick by rick my pile will grow
    I'll fill my woodstove nice and tight
    to warm us through the winter night
    The fire will flicker and embers glow
    while the dark outside fills up with snow
    I pray Dear Heaven up above
    please fill my home with light and love
