Beautiful moon and plenty of light out there tonight! This is one of those nights where you could walk forever and not need any other light.

It smells like spring out there also which is strange because it hasn't been above freezing for some time now.

Has your job slowed down enough to do some hoarding?

Not really, It's been tough with all the icy snow this year to work with a saw never mind walk around here. We've been reloading the porch boxes with those rubber things with metal that go over your boots to prevent slipping when getting wood from the stacks. I've got wood to get that isn't going anywhere, including some right here waiting to be cut so I'm OK. I have two weeks off in April, and two in May, so I know I'll go at it then if it remains snow/ice now for a while.:)

Yaktrax! I've been using them too. April and May sounds pretty sweet. Hope to catch up with you out in Winchester sometime.

Absolutely, I was just in Keene twice last week moving my oldest son back home for a while. I didn't mind, but it was waste of two of my days off from work, when I have other things to do. And the honey do list continues to get longer.:hair::rofl: :rofl: :rofl:

33 and 77. A few inches fell overnight and now it’s changed to freezing rain again. Looks like a couple more similar system coming this week also. At least it’s holding the cold back until next weekend.

Been a little cooler and windy here today but temps are due to be back in the 50s by the weekend. Burning some ash and some compressed briquettes made out of waste rice husks that were given to me.

    Keep warm folks

Right where I want to be.
We ended up with about 4" of snow last night. Stopped right about midnite, so after taking the dogs out before bed, I went back out and raked the north side of the roof.
    Did the rest this morning.
Got up to about 32 today with a bunch of sunshine...which was nice.
Had a fire last night, then again this morning, but let it go out. Probably light one up soon. Should see close to zero by Thurs. night-Fri., then a warmup to close to 40 by Sunday.

    46ºF outside and rain.
A little red maple in the stove right now but didn't light up the stove until mid-afternoon to knock some of the dampness/chill out.
With an overnight low forecast of 39ºF a full load as late as possible won't really be necessary.

    Mild overnight here. 22f.

Temps will drop and snow will fall is what they're saying.
