Nice. Uh, what is that white stuff on the ground? I have seen some flurries down here and even enough to get the ground sort of white before it disappeared. However, I know that winter will dump some snow on me before it leaves and lets spring come in.
Once again welcome. You will like it here We like dogs, beer and pics. Pic you've figured out to post. Sounds like you need to start a 3 yr plan. A lot of great people here with a lot of knowledge to share.
Kimberly, you are more then welcome to come get all the snow you want, we have plenty to share! Chazsbetterhalf, We have 6 dogs, 5 of them German Shepherds, and I'm in Wisconsin so you know we have beer lol. I would love to get a 3 year plan, even a 1 year plan lol. Every year I say I am going to get at least a winter's worth before winter starts and it never happens,. Working 65+ hours a week in the summer, lots of times 7 days a week. But now the guy up the road from me started logging so he will bring me smaller loads, most every one else around here you have to buy a full truck load (10-12 cords) for $90-100 a cord. Now I can get a 4 cord load for $372 delivered,. That's a lot more manageable then over $1000. So I'm hoping to get a few smaller loads over summer so I can start next winter with at least 10 cords.
Redneckchevy need to see a pic of those dogs. Post here or we do have a pet thread. Giz/Emma and everybody else pets. Not sure how to make that a link but that is the name of it.
Here is 4 of them, Silver, Bourbon, Skyy and Bailey's. Silver, the one in the snow, she is the one that does outside work with me.
Hello and welcome to the FHC Redneckchevy . Nice to have you on board. We love pics and lots of them here
I understand about the three year plan. I just started working on that this year. We aren't the only ones on the forum that is not on the three year plan. I think the three year is because lots of woods need a good three years to dry to the point of being burnable.
Welcome to the club, Redneckchevy ! Thanks for joining up and posting! Not to worry, we won't call you a slacker, or anything... well...not much...lol I've never heard the term loggers cord, that must be a "local" thing? I'll assume it's 128 cf? Posting pics is really easy from a smart fone. Again, welcome.
Welcome Redneckchevy As Horkn said, good to have another Wisconsin guy on here. Loads of info from all over the world.
