Thats not a good day thats a GREAT day. I go crazy over a downed locust log in a pricker patch entanglement. I would just about keel over coming home to that. I guess locust is as common there as oak is here.
BL is around here, just not common as a scrounge and grows roadside mostly from my observations.
Is that destined for the mill or firewood JB Sawman ?

I believe, kind sir, that this entitles you to the highly coveted “YOU SUCK” award. You may pick it up when you bring me a load of logs like that.

Looks like fun. That’s more trees than in my whole town....

A lot will go for the mill I have started cutting mailbox posts and the boards for raised gardens are very popular I always try to get as much lumber as I can out of any logs black locust is tough to get decent saw logs but all slabs and smaller logs with dry rot in the middle are firewood I am getting 3.30 a BdFt for nice locust lumber JB

A lot of people still burn in Pa but in my area way to many lazy people and rich wood could lay along road for days before someone will pick it up most tree companies call a log truck and pay for the wood to be hauled out and the log trucking companies sort and sell to sawmills or mulch companies they cant get enough help to even labor for the removals let alone split wood JB

We’re gonna need a really big log to carve your “You Suck” award if you know what I mean ;) :)
Great score. Had better tell this tree guy to stop chipping stuff like this. Can you pick up if he gets more?
