I’m envisioning the wife’s push mower losing a handle :)

If you use a couple log tongs to carry the wood out, you could have Popeye forearms and traps up to your ears.

I did, sort of. Have been thinking about making a long wooden box that could be hoisted under my log arch. Would hold more than my little trailer. Could also dump splits down the bulkhead if there’s too much snow to get in there with the big trailer. Not a canoe, more like a Jon boat

Pile of fresh splits is one of yesterdays loads logs and rounds are 1 from yesterday and the one i just got. All of the ash logs and rounds you see are loads from yesterday and today. All door knockers. Masonhillbilly firewood is on fire, no pun intended. 05F38BEE-4748-4C79-ABBC-C317CD16539E.jpeg CF63893B-6B6A-4DBD-BCCF-920C66CAD7EE.jpeg A411EF93-FC3C-46B4-BD12-4EBBC20AC2FF.jpeg

Hey Woodwhore can't you just yard the logs up the slope with a cable or rope and a snatch block? Tie off high to a tree on the uphill side to lift the log as well as pull. May need a second man if you can't see the log from the truck. Just saw you already mentioned this idea. It would be my pick. logpulley.jpg
