Suggestions for a new wood stove

Same here, probably going with the same combo.

 

I dont have one but if I were to add one it would be an englander nc30 based on those here and elsewhere that have them and are pleased.

 

Honestly, I don't like any of the other colors. I'm glad they had this color. That could have been a deal breaker.

 

I have researched this stove very extensively, actually most of this past burn season I have been nagging the Beta testers questioning them about anything and everything about this stove, to include WS folks as well. Color, at the least, would be a deal breaker on this stove. If I didn't like any of the color combos I would have asked for primer only and done it myself. It's that good of a stove!

 

True! I was just on the fence about getting the Progress Hybrid as well.

 

Hey Jim. Welcome to FHC. Sounds like you are south of me, and therefore a little warmer in winter. Last year I went through close to 5 cord in a 1600 sq. ft. Cape. My Endeavor kept us warm, but this past winter was cold, as you know. So, think big firebox, long burn, when you are looking at those Woodstocks. You don't want to be getting up at 2 or 3am, like I do, to load the stove again. Good luck, and remember, pics are required.
