Their customer service really sucks. Bought a new 4000 series wood furnace in September, probably put a cord of wood through it. The blower has been running constantly when the fire is dead for cleanout. Not an ember to be seen, like real cold! Everytime I give their Tech support line a call (which has been very many I can assure you) all it says is the Techs are busy, call back later. It dont matter what time of day I call them. So I go on their website LAST MONDAY and fill out the form for them to contact me. In it is the serial #, model # of the stove. Somebody replies to me today and tells me he needs the serial# model number of the stove and my info for warranty. WTF! This experience has definately left a sour taste in my mouth. Not even an option to hang on if I wish. I tell you what I wish at the current point and time.. I wish I hadnt bought the furnace.
Anybody got a number that I can actually speak to somebody?

Not a great experience with their support to say the least.

I can definitely understand your frustration.

Sorry for your troubles, that kind of thing is no fun. I tend to get impatient and start dialing different extensions and then tell whoever if I get a live person my troubles getting help and ask them to transfer me. I too am sorry for the frustation, we bought an Englander insert and it worked as it should but way too small for our needs which was our fault. Idk, stay persistent trooney . Too expensive not to.

For your reference incase you have different phone numbers

I'd be tempted to call the customer service instead of tech support........

I have two Englander products. NC-13 and NC-30. With both purchases, I had to contact customer service.

I had absolutely no problems contacting them and my stove issues were handled professionally and expeditiously. (But then again, I wasn't trying to tell them just how the stove should be redesigned nor was I proclaiming a background in engineering.)

I still recommend their products to anyone.

That’s really odd you have had so many problems. Everything I have heard prior to this they have been really good to work with. Didn’t the owner used to be a part of this forum?

I don't know if he was an owner or not. But at the very least, he was a rep from Englander.

My own thoughts are that he was driven away by a certain someone's incessant whining, complaining. pi$$ing and moaning and explaining just why the stove they had needed to be redesigned.

He had tried to help this individual but it turns out that they never had any registration forms on hand for the warranty...:picard:

FHC lost a valuable member there.
