I like this one. Haven’t touched the muffler yet. Compression came up to a little over 160# Knocked the limiters off and fattened it up on the H. As found was about 3/4. More likely to carry a 20” bar than the 24” it has here
Dad's old Echo. I haven't run it in a few years. I need to pull it down to get to the manual/auto oiler. Sucking some air. I'll change all the plumbing while I am at it. Fuel pipe/tank adapter O-ring is leaking. It has been awhile since I went through it years ago. Just felt like running it through a few rounds today to blow off some steam. Hammer time. 8-pin. I have to set it considerably leaner than the specs call (7/8 turns). Likely for a 36"+, 0.404" setup. Built for big, heavy loads. 42 years young. Convincing Japanese muscle.

I lurk on that forum often, usually looking at the for sale stuff. Always some saws of interest to me there. But the forum as a whole don’t feel as warm and friendly as it is here. Guess maybe I should sign up and try to get comfortable.
It’s a beaut! I would snag it but got myself a few to many projects going at the moment and no funds for another.
My former boss’s 266se has a metal flag. Someday I may get the chance to own it, but for now have to be content to use it when I want.... almost the same but not really
