I told my tree guy not too long ago that if he got some decent size pine that he wanted to dump for free to bring it by my house- not my moms farm where he usually drops off hardwood for a few. Found this dropped off right where I had asked.

nice score!! pine is super easy to cut and easy on chains. perfect for throwing into the owb. do you plan to split it? or just burn it as rounds? either way. good, easy score for the right price.

Some of both. I also cut and split it down further for use in my fireplace as well as put it out front for fire pit wood at my sons firewood stand

Nice load. Great that your son can sell it for fire pit wood.

I like that kinda score. At least pine is my favorite kind of pit wood since it burns hot and quick. People would probably like a good mix of that and a couple hardwood splits like maple if you’re willing!

I don't because pine will burn your house down. Thought we all knew that in here!

Got the logs cut up this afternoon. I have them sitting on runners to minimize contact with the ground. Will cover tomorrow. Not sure when they will get split but I just told my log guy I’m ready for more.
