    HUH?! You don't "have" to respond to anything. If you really felt the need to inform, why did you have to be so rude? Even a nun would feel like telling you to f-off after reading that.

    Since you "don't have to respond to anything" why did you comment then? :rolleyes:

    With some people being direct (even rude at times) is the only way to get through to them because they're so dense.

    Even if it as rude it needed to be said. People just don't know and think they are helping someone out when in fact they are potentially hurting them.

    And I wrote that "You don't "have" to respond to anything". You as in THISTLE.

    I'm not the one that found a random ad on Craig's List and went to the trouble of being RUDE to a guy posting. I am using tact with just saying it's rude. ;)


    I am commenting because you posted up on a message board expecting feedback.

    I don't find what Thistle posted as rude. I do think replying to the ad and contacting the person who posted the ad to inform them that the wood has chemicals and shouldn't be burned may be a better approach. I know plenty of people who are not aware of the risks with burning treated wood. There is a possibility that is the case in this example. The original poster may not ever see Thistles response ad if they don't follow craigslist regularly.

    This person may not be "stupid" they may just need to be educated.
