Been trying to get set up to run 24 inch bar w/3/8 inch pitch chain on my 2260 for over two weeks. Finally called Left Coast on Friday and explained what I was trying to accomplish. Real person picked up phone, understood what I needed and I received today. Was refreshing to experience real customer service for a change.
Bailey's has some : use their bar selector http://www.baileysonline.com/Chainsaw-Bars/ Oregon has a bar/chain selector too. Go to your local Oregon dealer, they may have one in stock. Oregon look up link
Left Coast is a new organization that was created when Bailey's shut down their other facility. Gregg and the staff will be happy to assist and won't charge exhoribant shipping fees like their former employer.
Gonna have to check them out. I quit my dealing with Baileys awhile back. Shopping is outrageous. Left Coast huh? BRB..
I need to check them out. Baileys is crazy on shipping and its not even fast!! Like 5-8 business days to get a box.
Thank's for the heads-up on Left Coast. The saw shop here closed about a year ago so I've been ordering what I need - typically from Madsen's in Washington and they've been good to deal with but another option not named Bailey's is great. Not only was Bailey's shipping a bit ridiculous, but the prices themselves were a little on the high side as well.
Bailey's High? I get better prices from the hardware store due to B's shipping costs, and that includes local sales taxes.
I swore off baileys a couple of years ago. Their head got to big or something. Better prices everywhere now days.
There is a place selling on my site. Great service CHEAP USPS priority shipping. $4 for 1 chain is little high but $6 for 2 or more that will fit in the box. LGX 72dl 13.99 LGX 84dl $15.99 LGX 93dl $18.99 Left coast is there too. Havent seen anyone beat their 36" 32" bar prices yet either.
