Here is my wood heater it’s 20years old and still going strong. It’s a Coonara classic bay window model. It doesn’t have any heat bricks in it. Three speed fan which is underneath and blows air up the back and across the top. Only thing I’ve had to fix is weld a 3/8 plate in the rear of the box after finding a crack a couple of years ago. I only burn hardwood in it either yellow/grey box or peppermint gum or stringybark gum. I cut my wood to 12” long but the firebox is about 14-15” deep and about 2ft wide and I put logs in as big as 8”. You can see the ceiling vent above the heater that takes heat down to the kids bedrooms via ducting and an in line fan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
