Took advantage of the day off and the 18* temps as the ground finally froze for a minute-It was 81* here last week-SMH-majority is black and white oak with a little locust and maple sprinkled in-Log Dog Approved
Anxious to drive some T posts and get the new rail rack started-this one is shorter than the other but will hold right at one cord
Well, it was an 8’ bed all but full and a 12’ trailer all but full so as little does, it was prob 1/2 a cord and yes, getting back into it comes with a price-my legs got wavy and experience tells me, when you get tired, you quit save some grave mistake-I’m back on my game and cheering on my brethren...next wave comes with next cold snap-this weekend is projected to be a wash...but do have mega-hickory on the ground on a score-Pics to follow if I connect
Exactly 1.12 cord @ 27’ compared to the other rail rack @ 33’=1.37 cord at 4’ high x 16” depth-and I’m no math nerd...actually just the opposite...Thx FHC!
Did i say "little" ? Didnt even realize it in my response. Was rather tired last night. Hoard on my friend and be safe!
Thanks all and yes Sir Backwoods Savage , it did feel great, it had been too long and my body let me know it-def plan to cut one day a weekend now moving forward-that hickory gift is about 20 miles away but its bucked to length and ready to move-hope to get it this weekend-The 81* broke all area records and we’ve had very little cold but the Fireview has only gone cold twice since ignition in late October...thank God for crank out casement windows! Stay warm and safe all!
