So my neighbor buddy.....who is giving me the firewood....said my new haul is ash and not maple. By golly, comparing it to one of my standing ash trees, I have to agree! That shows my firewood newbieness!!!! Of course I filled him with beer while we burned splitting junk and enjoyed the bonfire. Gotta keep the free wood guys happy.
