I've been adding and getting some old projects running and cutting. Here's a couple. Both from the Mid-60's and loud!
Gave an 026 260 mix-'n-match a workout the other day. Rebuilt it a couple years ago, but it hasn't seen any real action yet. Needs a few more tanks. Frozen, downed, green Douglas. A bit grabby. Filled the truck a couple times with some fat rounds. Starting to like the lighter saws more and more.
New bar and chain for the ms271. Looking at husky 460 ranchers...we shall see. Would like a 25” ish saw.
New member here, but long time lurker. A shot of my somewhat unusual albeit small collection of saws. From the left: a Solo sp 51 re badged by Baileys, a Mcculloch 10-10s, a Castor cp 55, and a Efco 156. All are in great running shape and we're purchased new except the Mcculloch which I bought off of Ebay a year ago.
Swedish torch day. This 50 was my dads saw when I lived at home. He bought it new and Ican remember the shop he bought it from. Cut much farwood with this sucker! He lent it out and his buddy straight gassed it. I fixed it many years ago and now only run it a few times a year. Interesting fix on the top cover lol.
Picked up a really nice 041 farm boss did the fuel lines rebuilt the carb and had to test her out. When it warms up outside I’ll give it a proper cleaning. Oh and had to do the muffler of course. Next up to play with is a 272xp. Pay no attention to the 3’ bar and chain..... that’s for another ongoing project.....
My Pioneer Farmsaw. Pretty clean with original case, bar, manual, and lubricant??? Sent from my SM-A205U using Tapatalk
A few pics- new ms311 and old homelite super 1050. Took pics of the 1050 to post for sale... still on the fence. Edit, also fixed the chain on the homelite. Doh, Don’t judge me.
