I've got a couple of Husqvarna saws that I clean regularly, but I don't really know what I'm doing. I'm going to Ytube right now to get educated, but figured I'd ask here for some of this sites awesome trove of wisdom.

So give me some of your best cleaning tips!

    Thanks in advance.

Compressed works good for me too, or if it's reall oily, I'll use brake clean first. Some removable parts can go in the parts tank if needed.

Air compressor, old toothbrushes,WD-40,Simple Green concentrate in gallon jug diluted 10-1 with water in a spray bottle, couple rags. Also leftover wooden popsicle sticks or narrow wood splits/slivers from splitting used as scrapers/picks in tough areas, they wont gouge or scratch the paint like metal ones.

Safety glasses and/or faceshield first though.

Compressed air for routine cleaning. WD-40 to remove pine pitch.., I started using soapy water (dish soap) and a scrub brush to do the occasional deep clean, hose it off, compressed air to dry and let the saw sit in the sun to finish drying out...

A cheapo "chip brush" makes a good cleaning tool. Dry or wet with thistle 's cleaner

Hemostats and small pieces of cloth work well for me.

I went to buy new air filters today and they have 3 different kinds for my saw. 2 nylons and a felt. Any preference for you guys? It came with a nylon one when purchased

This is another poor shot, but all I gave right now. Warmer for the top pot. 2 ears in the back of stove to make coffee. Boiling pan come off and the stove has a griddle insert to cook on if we want to or just have a fire... MVIMG_20190406_135358151.jpg

Compressed air for the most part . If it’s really nasty ,old mix will cut through most built up grease .
For pine resin , I have found isopropyl alcohol will dissolve it better than anything else I have used .
