Mornin all... Its been awhile....busy processin my venison.....building house additions n decks (cant figure why people wait till winter to do this things . Its work n the temps havent been too bad lately. Definetly easier to heat the house....we had an ice storm about 2-3 weeks ago...3/4" of ice hangin on the trees......lasted almost a week n a half before melting in one day... Hope everybody had a great Christmas n New Year. We can always hope n pray this year is even better than the last... HAVE A GREAT DAY N BEYOND...
Thanks for thinking of her, she enjoys reminisceing, telling us past stories. She is just so glad to be back in her house.
Glad you found some work. Yep, people wait till its freezing and then want a load of wood......don't they know winter is coming...
Hi bear 1998, happy new year to you and your delightful wife! I'm glad your ice has melted, too bad it took awhile. People want stuff built in the winter, because all you contractors are too busy to get to us in the summer! Reminds me, I have to make a call... Hope you stop in again!
Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a FABULOUS FRIDAY. I'm ready to get my 3 day weekend started. Rain coming in later this afternoon, might be some heavy rain, possibly thunderboomers... I'll have to see what the day brings, go by and check on mama when I get off and maybe move some tulip poplar logs down to the processing area. Customer with OWB said he would take it, he'll burn anything, wants a full cord dump trailer load... Lend a hand, share a smile, be encouraging...you might be the only Bible some people will ever read. GOD LOVES YOU AND ME.
.... .... No my body didn't want to get out of bed today.... Don't get me wrong I like all this time off in the last two weeks... But my body doesn't recognize this pattern.... and its playing heck with it... I like my 5 day - 2 day pattern....
Happy Friday to all of you as well! I haven't decided how to spend my day. The rain is holding off for today, but tomorrow will be a washout, so I'd best be spending my Friday outside! The Asplundh log truck came and took all the pine from across the street yesterday. I had gotten all I wanted. I think from now on I'll stick to dry stuff, if I get the urge to hoard pine. I think it's still too icy to pick up wood at the nice peoples' house where we got the ash, I'd have to pull it on the hand truck through whatever's on the ground. So, that leaves me with moving wood in my yard, and splitting. Not a bad way to spend the day. I just heard more snow fall off the roof and onto the deck, too. Have a good day, whatever you are doing!
