I'll have to come back to this. Been so warm here it's easier to run the NG furnace 2-3 times a day. Temp is supposed to keep climbing overnight till it hits 60 tomorrow. Next week we are back to roller coaster weather. A fire 1 day not the next.. Week or 2 into the new year and I'll be back to everyday fires.

i am heating 2000 sq ft house and when its below 60*avg I'm heating the 1200 sq ft shop too. when i'm just heating the house i put in 12-20 splits per day. usually bigger splits than most indoor stoves ever see. all this warm weather i overfilled it one day and added one single cut off, 3 inches thick and 10 inches dia. burned that and coals for 24 hrs. then added 6 splits tonight. prolly fill afternoon tomorrow. mostly need to burn the coals down though.

heating the house and shop I'll burn 20-30 splits per day.
