I had trouble today with the ice under the snow getting to the wood door at the house and wasn't able to be as precise as I usually am pulling up to the house so this will be the last one of the year. There should be enough inside to get me through the winter.
Tomorrow the snowblower and the small bucket go on the tractor.

    Thanks Woodsman.
I'm a firm believer in keeping wood under cover at all times.

Nice tractor too. I guess in Ontario once you get a layer of ice under the snow you’ve probably got it till spring :)
    Ever consider tire chains?

This would be the only time I would need them and it's not worth it just for this.
The snow blower works fine without chains. I had the diff lock on and still had trouble with the ice, but I have enough inside now for the winter.

well, I can tell you this for certain. A guy from Ct isn’t going to tell a guy from Ontario how to deal with snow hahahahah
Just wondering really because I have a set of chains for the JD. Ive seen them installed when I was a kid and dad had a plow on it. No one has ever bothered putting them on since.
Stay warm, burn it if it’s organic.
