Soooo i sell a guy 2 truck loads of ash and red oak for $300, hes 10 minutes down the road. After the second drop he says “do you want those ash rounds” iof course i held in my excitement and said are you sure. This guy was so nice and said i know you can use it and I appreciate your hard work and the quality of wood you brought. The seasoned cord of wood he got a couple of weeks ago was frozen, dirty and wet. So needless to say i got some more stock. Some people are just amazing.
You, Woodwhore are amazing!! Good to be able to provide a quality product to someone so he is not struggling to heat his house with unseasoned wet and frozen wood... bet he’d buy those ash rounds up back from you in the future once they are split and dried... keep hoarding!!!

I'm confuzzled. He paid you to bring him firewood, then gave you wood in addition to the money. Give me a couple minutes to digest that. That may just be one of the biggest You S.... award worthy deals I've seen.
I was thinking the same thing. You should split those rounds and give them back to him. It would be worth the look on his face alone. Plus your rep as a seller would skyrocket.
But then it would be green... he doesn't need to risk his rep on that... Instead He would need to store them for 2 to 3 years.... Then take it back to him ... jsssh.....
This guy was just a really nice guy, we got to talking and he knows why i sell wood and my family is struggling rt now. He gave it to me to help me.The ash has been sitting for a while, well see what the MC is in a little bit.
He knew i would be selling it so i think he wanted to do it to help out. He said he knew if i was willing to deliver wood in a pickup he had a felling it would be a good hardworking individual that wouldnt screw him. I dont know im rambling now thanks for all the positive feedback everyone

So i only got a few rounds split, more to come tomorrow basically its all nice and dry and i would feel comfortable selling it

Yep, you get the award. About how much are you putting on your truck. Sounds like you have a great market. We are getting $75-85 for a bit over a face cord. 18" long splits
