If he comes back, tell him you only cut premium quality wood... treat it with extreme care during the drying process... and sell only 1 face cord, per customer, at the amazingly low price of $1000. If he buys some, have a replacement load delivered CS&S by others... ;)

Sounds like a meathead. Anyway, it's amazing how out of touch the public is with how much wood outtakes to heat a single home.

Good thing I hayed the fields yesterday, looks like a long nap might be in the cards for this afternoon. I let the birds out and I suspect that by this evening they will want to show me what henpecked really means.

Asteroids... I hate em. Fixable divot or replaceable windshield? Bad enough you got nailed at all... but 2 minutes away? ... :headbang:

It's probably fixable, but it is dead center on the window. I think I'm going to have it replaced so it doesn't pizz me off every time I look at it.

"I think I'm going to have it replaced so it doesn't pizz me off every time I look at it." ... good call... every time I get one of those, I'll hit a bump and have to watch it start creeping and cracking in a bad direction...

This evening got home cleaned up the 036 saw for it to take its trip to Tennessee. Then went and moved some wood that had taken a hit with the running water at the base of the hill and covered in mud... Then went over to the garden to find it covered in weeds. To wet to get in and rid the garden of the weeds. Probably will be for several days. But we have gotten a nice amount of rain here this week.

Rain day for me today, no construction. Making a trip to Wilson Farms with my wife and Ikea to get a new rug for the dining room.

Heard rumors that a local store tossed out potted trees at the tree dump. Heading there after work for a load of compost, we will have to check it out.
