It's not all about PC, not with me. That's for sure.

    Some though, yes.

I call it like I see it, but there's some things that go too far. You really need to look and see if what someone else is doing affects you. If it doesn't, let it go.

My wife and I had a great dinner out, then we watched the Bucks beat the Lakers in a battle between the two teams with the best records in the NBA. Both were 24-4. At the end, the Bucks won. So we're very happy about that.

Not in this household.:). It was beautiful outside today compared to yesterday. Yesterday was like 12° for a high, with a low of around 6°.

Today was 36° for a high. Crazy weather swings around here.

Yup. You decide if you want others opinions/ behavior to dictate how you live your life. Don't allow a negative influence to affect you, you have no problems.

The Fun Country's ? So far, I have nothing bad to say about them, and quite a bit good. They are E rated, so getting the air pressure correct for a decent ride takes a while. I have "chalked" the treads a bunch and I'm getting close to a good ride empty.
Noise is minimal, not like a mudder. The open void cross-bars in the tread are a real benefit. Think "sand tire", but in reverse.
In the right conditions in snow, those voids pick up and fling a rooster tail of slush you have to see to believe. No one with any respect for their vehicle/windshield will get within 3 car lengths of you. I have stories. Tailgaters denied !

My brand new Focus cost 2k less than your Corolla. Okay, the Corolla probably will (or has) lasted longer than the Focus ever will. However, my last Focus (2007 bought used for $1,300) was still running at 210k - I just needed something that could handle highway speeds better; the old 4 cyl standard would wind the engine right out. Now I have a 3 cyl that purrs at 75-80 mph and it gets 8-10 mpg better than the old Focus and it es paid off (bought it almost a year ago).

I can't imagine buying a new SUV or truck though!

Hu, the heated mirrors on my vehicles have always automatically gone on when the defroster is used. Didn't have to figure anything out.

I just figured out why I have been getting smoke out of the chimney while the bypass is closed and the cat is glowing. Probably should have checked the bypass gasket first. Half of the back was drooping down towards the firebox. I need to try and pick one up today. This explains why the stove hasnt been performing well lately, and I was blaming the cat in need of a bath.

Took today off work. Trying to get over the sore throat that I have now. That and a plugged up ear made answering telephones and listening to soft spoken students really hard. The last days before break are always fun to be there. Yesterday our staff held a school wide turkey dinner for the students and staff.
